Facilities
Since taking over we have upgraded the onsite facilities in the form of four wooden chalets for the anglers use.
In the first one you will find 2 luxury massage showers, 2 proper flushing toilets and 2 hand basins, there is also an condensing tumble dryer and an electric heater and a clothes maiden to dry any wet towels or clothes. In the second there is a small tackle shop and general office area, the third has an indoor seating area for eating and socialising on days where the weather isn’t up to scratch. In the fourth you will find a full kitchen equipped with all the appliances and utensils you would find in your kitchen at home along with several power points to charge the necessary items. Outside this chalet will be a covered alfresco dining area equipped with seating for several people and a new gas BBQ.
We are also creating a secure car parking area as we will no longer be allowing people to drive to the lakes but fear not as I have a 4x4 utility vehicle that will take you and your tackle to your swims on arrival and collect you at the end of your stay, this is purely for safety reasons as our eldest son likes to play outside the house so the need to restrict traffic is paramount.
