Simon's Lake
Again after long and hard discussions over the winter (2009) we have changed the lakes around in order to be able to provide a better class of fishing for our customers, and have now made this lake our runs water and at 5 acres in size we have stocked it with 273 fish ranging from upper doubles to 50lb, this is a runs water with a difference as there are lots of 30lb fish in here with a few going 40lb and one that even goes 50lb. Where else can you catch fish of that size from a runs water! This is classed as our easy water and catch rates will be reflected in this. A ‘reel’ good starting point for people new to fishing or a great weeks sport for the more experienced angler.
All three lakes have undergone extensive work over the winter they have all been drained and all small fish removed they now have level gravel pegs and all have had some lilies and rushes planted to create features and a safe haven for the fish to hide in.
