“We visited Eden’s Lakes at week 21. After a drive of 13 hours we arrived at your beautiful lake. We were so early that we had enough time for the first grocery trip (a lot of them followed throughout the week!) When we returned Adam was waiting to greet us and show us the water we would be fishing for the week, and of course the cabin with the shower and toilet and the kitchen. After that we put up our tents and threw out baits in the water and a week of fishing had started. The first night we had a lot of rain, after that the temperatures went up and we had a real sunny week (average temperature of 29 degrees). On Thursday we had a great barbeque at the main house with Adam & Lisa, Steve, Leon, Daniel, Leo, Hendrik, Diederik and the children of Adam & Lisa. Adam had told us earlier that week he liked boswandeling (the green stuff) so I managed to get the recipe for that and made it for him! It was a really great BBQ…We had a good laugh! Hey Steve…………47 pound!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After that it went fast, the week was almost at the end, almost time to go back home (sadly). Everybody of our group managed to catch a fish or two…or more!! It has been a great week. I am looking forward to my next week of fishing at Eden’s Lakes. Hoping to return in 2008.”

Firstly what can we say but a huge thank-you for a splendid week of fishing and a lovely holiday even with the cold snap we had a truly wonderful time. The chalet is a credit to you, perfect for surviving, not to mention the spa shower, so refreshing! The North Lake is superb, not to mention the fish Andy caught from 27lb right up to 45lb 14oz, my word that was a huge lump! The fish are a credit to you, none were marked or had sores, lovely clean mouths too. The food was lovely too, also your own hand at cooking the breakfast baguettes was a treat, my word, they lasted us all day!! Lovely dining with you of an evening, two such welcoming people. You have a lovely family and we would recommend people to do the All-Inclusive package. It was great being picked up from the airport and dropped off, not hassle at all. "This was also my first time in France fishing and I decided to make mine and my husbands honeymoon special - so here we are at Eden's Lake. Firstly can I say the lake is stunning. Adam & Lisa and their lovely girls have made our week! The food is second to none and I have never felt so welcome by anyone. Now to the fish -> What can I say, apart from OUTSTANDING. They fight like you have hooked into a monster, the thrill of seeing these pristine fish is amazing, and the condition of the fish is the best that I have ever encountered. My week was made extra special with my catch of 'Little Jay' at 40lb 2oz during our second to last night. (I think my husband wants a divirce now - he only managed 20's and 30's LOL!) "Totally a fantastic fishing adventure from start to finish. The directions from the port of France to Eden's Lakes were spot on. The fishing was fantastic, the fish were in fantastic shape and will be interesting to see them develop in the next couple of years. The hospitality was above and beyond the call of duty. We were made to feel at home from start to finish, even the local farmer was good, although there was a problem with translation...but this did not deter the farmer from talking! We would suggest a trip into town to taste the food. We shall be back! Maybe for a longer period!"
